Peg Stark died peacefully on Wednesday night June 1st at Life Care Center in Port Townsend. She was eager for her passing and was joyfully looking forward to re-connecting with her dear husband Bill and many other loved ones who had gone before.

A Memorial Service is planned to celebrate the life of Peg Stark on Saturday June 11th at 2pm at the Meetinghouse. Many folks have already stepped up to help and there are still ways to contribute to the service.

We will have a social hour after the rise of the memorial service and are asking for folks to bring finger snacks that will not require utensils. Sweet or savory snacks would be appreciated.

Peg asked that no money be spent on floral arrangements but we think she might appreciate flowers from your yard or garden. Please bring them in a vase.

Contributions to American Friends Service Committee in Peg’s name are welcome. You can either send them directly or write a check to PTFM with Peg and AFSC in the memo line and we will make sure the consolidated amount goes to AFSC.

We are unsure how many people to expect for the service. We may need extra chairs. If you have folding chairs please bring them but leave the in your vehicle until we are sure they are needed.

If you are able to attend the service, please consider staying late to help clean up before you go.

If you are unable to attend please join us in holding Peg and all who loved her in the Light and in your heart.

Peg was a devoted member of Port Townsend Monthly Meeting and will remain a deep influence on all who knew her.
