Kathy has tra veled to the region roughly a dozen times over the past 11 years. In 2023\ , she won a service award to work with FPT partners in Kenya and Uganda to offer trauma education workshops for approximately 600 refugees and to tr ain dozens of South Sudanese facilitators.
