Our purpose is spirit-led discernment toward what actions we may be called to
take — as a Meeting and as individuals — in response to recent attacks against
immigrants by the federal government.
All attenders and members of Port Townsend Friends Meeting are encouraged
to participate in the discernment process. We will send a separate email with
the agenda and some brief preparatory reading material.
Bring a sack lunch, if you like – and we will also have soup in the kitchen.
MC – for committee members – M&C usually meets monthly on the last Monday of the month at 1:30 pm
The Aktion Club is a service club for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities — an inclusive activity for fun, fellowship, and service!
Volunteers are welcome to join in club activities.

This open mic will be a mixture of every genre, style, form, perspective, and content — from fiction to memoir to poetry, unpolished to polished, unpublished to published. Writers of all steps along the writing path are welcome! Please don’t be shy — we have the most wonderful, supportive audiences!
There will be 10 to 12 readers, each reading for five minutes, plus two featured readers each reading for fifteen minutes. Names will be drawn out of a hat. Your name must be dropped into the hat by 2:50pm.
